Went to LA this past weekend. Got to visit my little cousins! They're getting so big! Nice to snap some pics of them and eat some good Chinese food.

Nifty Fifty

Always nice when I get the opportunity to test shoot my 50mm. A little sun came out so went into the backyard, experimented with a couple things, and let myself get snap happy. This lens is an absolute wonder.With even the faintest hint of sun, photos come out looking so dreaaamy. Can't get enough!

Light up your life

Backtracking a bit here. Getting to experience Asia during Christmas time was incredible! They go above and beyond what I am used to seeing with Christmas decor. The endless displays of billboards and lights illuminated the streets of Tokyo so effortlessly. I had never felt safer strolling around at night. And in a foreign country, at that. I only wish it hadn't been SO cold! Nothing a nice big bowl of ramen couldn't remedy, though :)
